Sage have announced their latest additions to Sage 200 cloud with the release of the Winter 2018 Enhancements package.
Sage update Sage 200 cloud in response to feedback from actual users. This fixes any identified bugs/issues, improves the user experience and helps to further simplify business processes.
Highlights of the new release include:
1) Improved Audit Capability
Sage are supporting customer internal audit processes by providing the ability to view key audit activities and capture user actions taken on key data including changes to supplier bank details and changes to purchase requisitions.
2) Purchase Requisition Enhancements
The new enhancement is based on feedback from the initial release with the aim of improving the purchase requisition customer journey. Users can save considerable time from improved purchase requisition workflow.
3) GoCardless – Full Launch
Sage have partnered with GoCardless, a leading digital Direct Debit provider, where you can schedule and collect payments by Direct Debit from within Sage 200 cloud. This will lead to improved cash flow through removing the pain of late payments and providing greater predictability of cash position.
4) Making Tax Digital
The new release will allow for a simpler on boarding for MTD with a new system admin setting to enable MTD compliance.
5) Microsoft Power Apps Connectivity
Sage now provides the ability to develop customer specific applications that can integrate with Sage 200 cloud. This saves businesses time by expanding access to key Sage 200 cloud data.
6) Warehouse on Free Text Items
This latest enhancement will provide the ability to tie a warehouse to a non-stock related purchase. This improves the ability for companies to use warehouses as for non-stock related processes.
