Sage 200cloud Spring 2018 Enhancement Pack – The Details

Sage 200cloud is Sage’s solution for mid-sized companies, allowing your growing business to manage your finances, customers and business insight through to the next level. The product is continually updated in line with direct customer feedback to ensure it is fully equipped with the latest technologies and the Spring 2018 Enhancement Pack has now been released. Main features of the new release include: • Hiding Redundant Nominal & Cash Book Accounts - This functionality removes the nominal account from lists and helps prevent the account being selected or having activity assigned to it by mistake. Similarly, you can amend Bank Account Details and set an active status. • GDPR Assistance – This addition makes it easier to comply with GDPR, with the introduction of new reports which show records containing data for a named person, and customers/suppliers who haven’t traded for a specified period of time. • Quotations and Proforma – Convert a quote to a proforma to collect payment prior to creating a sales order. There is also a new process to create a proforma from an invoice. • Automatically Refreshing List – New functionality to ensure that some of the most popular list views automatically refresh when required. There is an Auto Refresh tick box at the top of the list view which must be selected to get the lists to refresh automatically. • Making Tax Digital (MTD) Ready - Sage 200cloud will now enable you to take part in a beta scheme relating to VAT Returns under the new MTD rules. This will mean that you have a head-start on the MTD rules that are going to be implemented in April 2019. Northern Ireland based firm, Acorn IT Solutions, has recently announced the opening of a second business premises in Santry, Dublin. Acorn IT Solutions are one of the leading Sage Business Partners in the UK and Ireland, offering the full range of Sage Solutions as well as their own range of bespoke developments. This move is the next stage of an ambitious business strategy, backed by Invest NI, to establish a sales presence in the Republic of Ireland in order to create new business opportunities and diversify its customer base. The new office is situated in a stylish, business centre which is perfectly situated between Dublin City Centre and Dublin Airport and has easy access to both the M1 and M50 motorways.
